10 steps to lose weight quickly! Part 5

A simple trick how you can quit snacking!

If you kept the rules we described in the 4 previous articles, then you might already have lost a few pounds, and you even did not have to run a Marathon or fast. You are most balanced and self-conscious! In this piece we will discuss snacking.
We reached a level in the diet which is the most painful point for most of us. Snacking! During my diet it was the hardest part that I am not allowed to eat chocolate and I did suffer a lot before I succeeded in losing weight. Most people love sweets! Chocolate, biscuits, bonbons, cakes ľ all of them huge temptations for someone who would like to lose weight.
On the workplace, on visits, in the cinema or at home in front of the tube, all the chocolate, popcorn, chips and other useless food can give your body a surplus of calories in a moment that is the direct way to overweight. So you do not need to be surprised if you hardly can fasten your shoelaces or do not fit into your jeans any more.

100 grams of peanut Milka chocolate contain 560 calories, 50 grams of sugar and 36 grams fat! A 30 years old woman who is on a diet and works in an office needs about 1000-1300 calories a day. It is obvious that it cannot be made if you eat all kinds of sweets all the time.

Forget the morning coffee with sugar, drink it with sweeteners!

There is no more: honey, chocolate, cakes, chips, salty snacks, bonbons, gums, peanut butter, ice cream, popcorn, or fruit yoghurts full of sugar. Nothing! It will be hard for you to keep. But I can give you a good advice how you can quit snacking. Yes, it is something you must quit! At some point it is an addiction, just like that of alcohol or drugs.

A simple trick how you can quit snacking!

Leave behind snacking step by step. Just imagine that you decide not to eat chocolates and similar sweets from Monday. You will be able to come through that Monday without eating any snacks, but on Tuesday or Wednesday a half chocolate bar will get more and more temptative. Just try it (it helped me) not to eat any snacks for 2 days, and on the third day, when you cannot go any more without snacks, just eat some little sweet what you desire, before 10.00 a.m. Attention! Only a little sweet. Not a pound of chocolate and 3 sachets of gums! Eat 25-30 grams of chocolate or a smaller cake, or just half a sachet of chips. Essentially, it must be reasonable. So you can decrease your desire of snacking, but still can go on with your diet. It is very important to eat what we desire already in the early morning hours. The body is running high after waking up, even if you cannot feel it, as you are still sleepy. All food consumed right after waking up will get burned much faster by the body. So it wonĺt be utilized as much as if you would eat it before going to bed. Most of the sweets eaten for breakfast get transformed into energy, and the body burns it during the while moving and doing things during the day. It will not be stored as fat!
Do that for 1-2 weeks, do not snack for 2 days and eat a small portion of sweets on day 3. Then proceed with it and keep 3 days without snacking, and eat on the 4th day a bit of what you are missing. Increase the days without snacking continuously. If you can make 7-10 days without sweets, then congratulations for your endurance and you can be proud of you, as you quit obligate snacking! You must not give up sweets completely, not even if you already reached your dream shape. You are allowed to eat some occasionally, but should always pay attention to the proportions.
